Before I begin, I have to thank my husband for being such a wonderful man and being absolutely incredible to me while I was on bed rest! He took care of all the chores from grocery shopping to laundry and cleaning while constantly making sure I was comfortable. He went out of his way to make sure I was OK and I cant even begin to explain how appreciative I am for that.
So, Vinny, If you're reading this, Thank you! I couldnt have picked a better man to marry or father for my child! I love you more than you'll ever know!
I havent officially been released from bed rest but at our N/T scan today, the tech told us she couldnt see any tears in the placenta and everything looked great so we of course, we're thrilled to hear that news.
What is the nuchal translucency screening test?
This prenatal
test (also called the NT or nuchal fold scan) can help your healthcare
practitioner assess your baby's risk of having Down syndrome (DS) and some other chromosomal abnormalities as well as major congenital heart problems.
This is the screening we went for today which was followed by great news! During the scan, the tech was able to confirm that the SCH was no longer visible and my uterus and other parts were in perfect condition. Amazing :) She was also able to get all the measurements she needed, tons of angles and great pictures - Despite baby sleeping on its head for the first five minutes of the scan!
Although we didnt receive any results yet, the tech assured us everything looked perfect and that no news is good news when it come to expecting a call. Again, great news!
